Today we'll be reviewing the GP62MVR 7RFX Leopard Pro and how it stands after a year of intensive testing in the home and work environment.

Design

The Leopard Pro is constructed with and Aluminium Alloy Chassis which is sturdy and very lightweight, without sacrificing the structural integrity of the overall build. The weight of both the laptop and battery is 2.2 kgs, impressive for a GTX 1060 model. For comparison the Razer Blade 15 is just over 2 kgs (4.6 pounds) and the Alienware 15 at a whopping 3.5 kgs (7.6 pounds)

These alternatives both cost more than the Leopard Pro, the Razer Blade at $1800 USD and the Alienware 15 at $2100 USD on their official websites. Compare that to the Leopard Pro's $1300 USD currently available on Amazon.

Its dimensions are 383 x 260 x 22~29 mm, thicker than the blade and thinner than the Alienware - the perfect balance for a gaming and working laptop.

A SteelSeries RGB keyboard is outlined with silver-lining print, optimized tactile feedback, solid shielding, and anti-ghost keys. The lighting and overall system is controlled by DRAGON CENTER - an app exlusive on MSI notebooks. They are not individually lit with per-key back lighting which is understandable at this price range, so if you are looking for excellent performance without destroying your wallet, consider purchasing this laptop.
